Welcome to Cistine Clothing-
In a world surrounded by opinions,
stereotypes, war, sound waves, guitar
solos, paint strokes, love, hate, a hope
for peace, we humans will make our world
change. Music is the beat our hearts
follow; Art is the vision our eyes are
shown, you have been given the gift of
freedom, opportunity, and life; follow
your dreams, and show the world who you
are.
The idea of Cistine Clothing began in
2007 as a fundamental brain storm to
start a senior project. Cistine then
went on to turn into a way of life, it's
sole purpose being to offer the world
amazing apparel inspired by musicians
and artists, which in turn offered those
same musicians free exposure on our site
as well as the option to create
collaboration products with us. We are a
Clothing company inspired to help those
in need, so we started a
fundraiser/charity called Water the
Fire, which donates the entire
commission for each water the fire
product sold.
Cistine Clothing is the product of two
art medians, music and graphic art. Art
and Music have a power to influence, and
cause emotional response in the viewer
or listener; together and alone they
have been pop culture, a social
movement, history, expression, culture,
and language. Art and music have the
power to show how life is both here in
our own borders and across the globe. So
why not wear a message for those that
could influence, inform, and help
change, with just one glance while
walking around school, or getting a cup
of coffee. Help One, Water the Fire.
Cistine Clothing was designed to bring
art out of costly museums and onto an
everyday moving canvas, apparel.
Cistines designs come from music, for
example when we hear an amazing song, we
draw the music as an image as if it
would be the last time to hear it.
The name Cistine comes from the Sistine
chapel in Rome. The connection is that
the Sistine created for religion yet is
known for its painted ceilings. Cistine
was created as a clothing company, yet
is also known for its art. And finally
founder of Cistine Clothing was born and
adopted in Romania, so there is a small
pride in being European and roots thing
going on.
We have two goals. We want to create
great apparel that people love; and we
want to help as many people as possible
through our friends and family programs
for bands and artists or through our
charity Water the Fire.
We
are all here to do something upon this
earth and Cistine is here to capture
sound, all forms of art, and project
them upon our clothing. Welcome to a
world of life, and beauty. Show it what
your made of.

Water the
Fire was created in 2008. While
watching a program on television
called “The News” we were (the
world) constantly being shown images
and told stories of people being
affected by hunger or disease, war,
natural disasters without relief in
sight, depression, abuse, neglect,
and death; So we decided to do
something about it.
Water the Fire© was designed to help
those in need, by donating 100% of
every WTF product sold to various
charities such as the Aids Alliance,
Love the children, Invisible
Children, the Kristin Brooks Hope
center, and various environmentalist
charities.
My name is
Sergio Slansky, and I created
Cistine Clothing and Water the Fire.
For 18 years I have been traveling
the world , I’ve seen some of the
poorest people living in tin
shelters, to others living without
food needing to beg on street
corners to make it day to day. I was
born in 1990, into a third world
country called Romania. During my
first year of life I survived the
end of a civil war, being
malnourished and neglected and
abused in an orphanage for a year,
then I was adopted to a loving
wealthy family in the US. I have
seen Every side of good and bad the
world can offer.
The world
has many problems such as War,
Disease, Famine, Violence, and
Poverty. Every day people die
because of one of these worldwide
problems. They left me thinking
‘What The Fuck’, why is this not
being widely publicized, why is it
that we allow people to live in such
awful conditions. Water the Fire was
created to help aid, and join those
already fighting, hunger, disease,
and violence. So please remember
anything you do whether you buy a
product, volunteer, help someone
out, or even just tell a friend
about what’s happening it all helps
those in need.
